The Lions win, the Lions win!!!

Very happy that this game did not get blacked out. After 5 of the last 6 last season, starting with another blackout could have led to only the Turkey Day massacre on the tube.

For the sake of not being blacked out for the next home game, the lions need to at least make it a game.

Sounds like they didn't fire up any interest in the Skins game. Over 10,000 tix left as of yesterday, according to MLive.com http://www.mlive.com/lions/index.ssf/2009/09/blackout_lions_have_10000_tick.html

The team said Wednesday it has 10,000 tickets available for Sunday's home game against the Washington Redskins.

If they're not sold by Thursday — or Friday, if the NFL grants an extension — the game will not be on TV in the Detroit, Lansing, Saginaw-Flint and Toledo, Ohio, markets.

This could be the start of several blackouts this season. :-t :-t :-t
