Portis or McFadden? WHIR

Postby jmog » Sat Sep 19, 2009 5:29 pm

My #1 RB is MJD and we can only start 2.

Its a PPR league and both Portis and McFadden have great matchups, who do you start?

Portis vs St. Louis
McFadden vs KC

I am obviously leaning towards Portis, he's the 2nd RB I drafted, and has an easy matchup, but being PPR McFadden against KC just looks good...

Talk some sense into me and tell me to forget McFadden until bye weeks :)

I live outside of DC so I may be a homer, but I'd go with Portis. The papers here have been questioning Zorns playcalling all week, saying he did not get the ball to portis enough last week. Zorn acknowledged this too on his weekly show here in town.

Hope this helps. Can you take a look at my post

I'd go with Portis as well. Against STL, he looks to have a great week.

Play Portis, even Julius Jones ran for over 100 yards on them last week, Portis will own them. McFadden's matchup is very nice as well, but he does cede some carries to Bush, particularly at the goal line. And Fargas is back from his injury now as well, though he may not run much in his first game back, he's a concern nonetheless.
