Alright, I really need help with my receivers this week. I right now have Steve Smith and Dwayne Bowe in the lineup but I've read on a few sites that Hines Ward is a good start this week and that perhaps I should think about keeping Smith on the bench. I know Carolina was brutal last week but I'm really against benching star players. But, if I had a definitive answer I liked, I wouldn't be here asking .
Here are their matchups: Steve Smith @ ATL Dwayne Bowe vs. OAK Hines Ward @ CHI Donnie Avery @ WAS
BTW, it's a non-PPR league. Scoring as such: 1 point per every 10 yards, 6 points for a TD, and 5 points if he goes over 150.
Def start Steve Smith no matter what. I think he has played well agaisnt Atlanta in the past too.
I think I would def start Bowe also.
I would go with Hines Ward as my 3rd WR because I feel like Pittsburgh is going to have a tough time running the ball against Chicago, and I think their running backs will struggle all year in general, which will force Roethlisberger to throw the ball
Thanks for helping with mine!

I'm leaning towards starting Smith and Ward. Smith had 2 great games last year against Atlanta, and that was with Delhomme behind Center too. The last 2 games for Delhomme have been terrible, but he's capable of producing with Smith and I think you're right in not benching two of your star WRs. I trust Smith more than I would trust Bowe too (is the QB situation in KC better than in Carolina for sure?).
Ward I believe will also have a good week, especially if Pitts run game can't get off the ground (which I feel might happen). It's also a pretty safe play, I think.
It's sort of a toss up between Bowe and Ward. Chicago's run D will force Big Ben to go to the air, giving Ward more opportunities. I'm leaning towards Ward but you should be fine either way.
