3 Big Decisions - WHIRRRRRR

Postby TecmoBowlMVP » Sat Sep 19, 2009 7:09 pm

Got 3 tough decisions this week...

WR (pick 1, G. Jennings and VJax are locked):
S. Moss vs. StL - as expected, the Giants D shut him down last week, will he go back to form against the Rams?
E. Royal vs. Cle - I put him in because of Santana's bad matchup but he didn't produce. Will he do any better?
R. Meacham vs. Phi - Picked him up off FA this week. Should I put him right in?

TE:
C. Cooley vs. StL - He's done well enough last week, but a new contender has arrived...
Z. Miller vs. KC - He's proven himself to be JaMarcus's go to guy. Will it continue?

DEF:
Chicago - Another tough matchup this week against Pittsburgh.
Buffalo - Did quite well to keep the Pats game close. Will they do better against TB?

WR is tough but I'm actually going to go with Moss over Royal on this one. Yes Royal torched McDonald last year BIG but he had Cutler throwing to him. Orton is just not looking the part...at all. Moss is tough to predict but he's going against Wade...the same guy that got owned last week against Burleson. Meachem...meh. I'm curious as to who your starting for your other WR slots.

TE: Both have great matchups but Cooley is facing Butler...LOL..start Cooley

Def: Chi...only because of Pitt's O line...but really it's a coin flip for me

good luck ;-D

Royal: I think Denver will do a lot better going against Cleveland

Cooley: He should do pretty well against one of the worst defenses in the league

Chicago: I think that could be a low scoring game and I agree about the comment of Chicago having a poor offensive line

I'm starting Greg Jennings and Vincent Jackson in my other 2 spots.

I'd go with Moss over Royal at receiver, I think he's a safer pick.

Tossup between the two TEs. Miller and Russell seem to have great chemistry and he's becoming a very reliable option but Cooley is playing the Rams and he should see lots of touches as well. Go with Cooley.

I like Chicago only for their return game and Big Ben's tendency to get sacked. The Steelers run game won't move the ball far against the Bears so I think they are the best pick for D.

thanks for the help on mine

I would stick with Royal. I'm sure you've read Josh McDaniel's quotes about how disappointed he was that E.R. wasn't involved in the offense. Sadly, he may have a better quarterback throwing to him than Santana. ((Which, I realize, is like saying that lime jello is smarter than strawberry jello)).

Zach Miller is your man (esp if you're in a PPR league). The kid has great hands ... and, unlike most tight ends in the league, Miller has some legs and is a threat to have single catches for 20+. I agree that Cooley has a good matchup, but Miller's adversary in the Chiefs isn't any more threatening.

I don't trust Buffalo enough to tell you to start them over the Bears. One nice defensive game doesn't a trusty defense make. Watch 'em this week.
Chicago does have a tough matchup ... Big Baby can be tough to sac ... but enough pressure will force the turnovers. Losing Urlacher was a big blow to their unit and they'll either play with gusto because they have something to prove or they'll fold terribly.

Help me out?? Will help anyone in return!!!
