LT Wreaking Havoc on RB Situation - WHIR

Postby TheGuru22 » Sun Sep 20, 2009 6:43 am

With LT sitting this week, I have some less than ideal options to consider for my RB2 in a PPR league

Which of the following would you start:

J. Norwood vs. Panthers
K. Faulk vs. Jets
R. Williams vs. Colts
J. Stewart vs. Falcons

I've been wavering between Norwood, Faulk and Williams, as I think they may get some grabs at least, but not sure what others think. Will help in return, thanks.

Although none of these choices are too exciting I'd go with Stewart vs. Falcons
Fortunately I do know what I don't know!

I wouldn't start Stewart at all, although he is sure to hawk goal line carries. The problem I have is that the Panthers offense is in chaos, while Atlanta looks solid.

I'd go the other way, and start Jerious Norwood. He's their third down back, and will get a bunch of looks running the wildcat. Sorry it goes against the apparent grain, but I'd roll out Norwood against an overmatched Panthers defense.

Help if you can...

Norwood is the guy I actually have in there right now for the reason you mentioned, as I believe he will at minimum get some grabs which will score me some points, plus he has the biggest home run potential from either breaking a long run or taking a punt back. Will likely consider Stewart, as he was drafted as my 3rd back, but I'm not sure how many carries he will get, plus Atlanta seemed pretty good against the run last week.

I would go with Faulk. He is a PPR stud. I had a guy win a league last year with him.
