How well does Mike Bell have to play to win the main job?

As the main ground attack? Once again he's putting up a good game, against a tougher defense than last week, while Thomas flounders with his injury. Is Mike Bell the thunder to Bush's lightning, or are we going to see a 3 headed monster?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if Mike Bell stays healthy he'll take over as the feature back full time. Thomas and Bush will be sprinkled in but Bell will be the guy in New Orleans, at least for this year. I really think he's the best runner they have right now.

What I'm loving even more then the yardage (which I'm loving just enough as a FA pickup a week before the season opener) is the touches. I was kind of scared with the whole pass, pass, pass, worrying he would only get a few mop up touches late in the games but that certainly doesn't look like the case (don't get me wrong I would take that also but still..). 28 Touches week one and 18 week 2 before the 'injury', ontop of the fact that he found the endzone on the ground this week when they didn't persay 'have the gamed locked up' at that point. I really hope the injury isn't too serious because I really for see Bell still seeing a very good number of touches and even with only 10-15 a game I could still handle his 5.1 YPC equating out to 50-75 yards and a possible score.

Not likely. Bush is far too popular as a marketing tool. He's Mike Vick without the dog murder; an overrated player that puts butts in seats and sells jerseys because sometimes he makes an electric play, but he often misses games or turns the ball over.

Not likely. Bush is far too popular as a marketing tool. He's Mike Vick without the dog murder; an overrated player that puts butts in seats and sells jerseys because sometimes he makes an electric play, but he often misses games or turns the ball over.

True but I can't think that the Saints are having marketing issues with the airshow they are putting up these days. I think he's expendable and could be moved in the offseason.
