Grab Robinson??

Postby dblj9911 » Sun Sep 20, 2009 9:57 pm

I have been following Laurent Robinson of St. Louis and it seems like he is becoming either the main target, or the benefactor of Avery possibly getting double teams. Either way he has 11 catches and 140 yards and a touchdown on the season. This is his third year (two years in Atl) is he getting it in his third year, or just having a couple of decent games on a bad team?
So the question is should I pick him up and stash him on my bench or stick with what I have? I'm in a 10 team dynasty league, standard scoring, 0.5 ppr, 6pt all tds. My only two possible players to drop I'm guessing are Rice or Bess.
QB- Palmer, Eli, Orton
WR- Fitz, Calvin, Colston, C. Henry, Hixon, Bess, Rice
RB- AP, DWill, R. Brown, R. Bush, M. Bush, LJ, Caddy, C. Taylor, Bernard Scott
TE- Dallas Clark, O. Daniels
K- Longwell
IDP- Willis, Beason, Ryans

Thanks, WHIR, leave a link.

If you think Robinson is going to turn it on later in the season, I'd go with your gut. I personally don't think Bess is worth a keep. None of the Dolphin WR really stand-out and he could have a great week once, and then burn you.

Grab Robinson and then just let him flourish

I agree with above. Drop Bess and pick up Robinson. I read lots of good things about him coming into and throughout training camp. He's putting it together on the field so I'd say grab him now.

Drop Scott. He's not gonna get picked up by anyone else and if Robinson turns into a true number one it's a cut well worth it.
