Forte/Clayton for Smith/Holmes KEEPER. WHIR!!

Postby ollie7585 » Sun Sep 20, 2009 10:05 pm

I'm in a 12-team 10 keeper league. I have been offered Forte/Mark Clayton for Kevin Smith/Santonio Holmes. Non-PPR, 10yds=pt, td=6.

QB: Hasselback, Palmer
RB(2): Pierre, Ronnie Brown, Rice, Smith, McCoy, Greene, James Davis
WR(3): Fitz, Roddy, Holmes, Royal, Burleson
TE: Cooley, Cook

I'm trying to figure out if this would help me long-term. Right now my RBs are below par but on the same token I have 0 production outside of my starting WRs. I think I could get Schilens off waivers. The opportunity to get a Forte-caliber player doesn't come often.

Other players he has: Donnie Avery, Maclin, Felix Jones, Bradshaw

If you think the trades a no-go, any suggestions on possible counter offers?

Thanks!

I do like Forte more than Smith, not by a ton, but I do like him better. But the big downer on this deal is the wr's, you lose out way too much by giving up Holmes for Clayton. I'd pass for now.
