Drop Anthony Gonzalez for Manningham? WHIR!

Postby riggins » Mon Sep 21, 2009 12:44 pm

We start 2 Wr's in a non ppr league. My other recievers are C. Johnson, R. White, and J. Cotchery. I would only start him during bye weeks. I know everyone is jumping on the bandwagon but at the same time should i hold on to a guy who might not be healthy for 2 months? Thx.

I would do it as well. Anthony Gonzo was supposed to break-out this year, but who knows what will happen when he returns from injury. MM, on the other hand, looks solid and is emerging as a top option for the Giants. I do the switch here.

I think if you had a larger roster he'd be worth stashing but he'll be out minimum a month possibly 2 or longer. He's going to miss serious time. About 1/2 the season. I'd make the swithc to give you some productive depth there.

Don't miss your chance.

Roster please.

What do you start? 2 RB 2 WR 1 TE 1 RB/WR? If so I might lean towards dropping one of your TE's or Bell instead. Bell just got hurt(probably going to miss at least a few weeks) and if Bush and Thomas are healthy his role is limited anyway. Besides with Gonzo their coach said he COULD miss 2-8 weeks. At this point we have no idea how long he'll be out.
