Someone from one of my leagues (money league) just made this offer.
Their offer:
Drew Brees
For these players of mine:
Matt Ryan
Matt Forte
Mario Manningham
Do it? Below is my lineup including my bench.
QB: M.Ryan
WR: A.Johnson
WR: V.Jackson
RB: M.Forte
RB: C.Johnson
W/T: T.Gonzalez
W/R: T.Jones
DEF: Minnesota
BENCH: QB: M.Sanchez
BENCH: WR: Mario Manningham
BENCH: WR: M.Jenkins
BENCH: WR: J.Gage
BENCH: WR: P.Crayton
BENCH: WR: L.Moore
BENCH: RB: M.Bush
BENCH: RB: J.Lewis
What do you think guys? Forte hasn't produced much so I'm seriously thinking this.

It depends on your outlook for Forte. If you think he is going to come around and start playing like a #1 RB, then I probably wouldn't do it. But if you think he is going to be mediocre the rest of the year, then go for it. Personally, I think Forte will come around in the next couple weeks. Also, don't expect Brees to keep up these amazing stats every week.
If I were in your position, I don't think I would do it. If you are on the fence, maybe you could offer back without Manningham in the deal. That might make you more confident in the deal.
Can you help with mine?

I think your giving up to much, unless your scoring system highly favors qb's then I'd have to pass on this trade.

Ugh...yea its tough. If I was more confident in Forte right now then I wouldn't do it, but apparently Cutler has something to prove and passes more which means less touches for Forte.

One thing Brees has in his favor in this deal is that he has proven himself over a longer period of time. So you pretty much know what you are going to get from him this year, barring injury. Whereas Forte has yet to prove if he isn't just a flash in the pan, one-hit wonder.
