Forte and Slaton - Seriously?

Postby dgcesq » Mon Sep 21, 2009 9:00 pm

I drafted Forte in Round 1, Slaton in Round 3, and thought I was going to have a great RB lineup. After two weeks, they have scored me a combined 19.8 pts. I expected Forte to continue his studd performance from last year. Slaton's in a non-RBBC situation, so I expected 7-10 pts from him per week, at least.

Were my expectations totally wrong, or are both these guys just off to a slow start? I can't get any real value in a trade for them right now. Seriously, what's going on here?

I think you basically just have had some bad luck with those two, and some tough match ups as well. I think that they will both turn it around and to have drafted Slaton in rd 3 will be a steal by the end of the year. Just be patient with them, it seems worse because it is the start of the season. Good luck.

i'd love to have both these guys. i wouldn't worry about them. forte will step up; he and cutler will get on the same page. he may not get as many catches as he did last year b/c cutler's arm is so much stronger than orton's, but he is a stud. slaton is the guy in houston, so don't fret about either guy. good draft!
