Best pickup this week? WHIR

Postby GlorifiedG » Tue Sep 22, 2009 3:27 pm

Who's the best pickup this week, waiver lifts tonight so lets decide. I'm dropping Kevin Curtis but I don't know who to pick up.

Current Roster:

WR- Anquan Boldin, Braylon Edwards, Eddie Royal, Antonio Bryant, Mario Manningham
RB- Adrian Peterson, Steve Slaton, Willis McGahee, Donald Brown, LeSean McCoy.

Start 3 WRs and 2 RBs who should I grab:

Mike Walker (WR-Jax)
Justin Forsett (RB-Sea)
Johnny Knox (WR-Chi)

I think I like Knox more than Walker just because he's got a much better QB. I think I have bigger names at WR but I'm not getting much production. McGahee has been good but if he falls off and Slaton doesn't pick it up I'll be in trouble at RB.

I agree, Knox is the guy to target out of those 3. And depending on the other owners' awareness in your league, you still might be able to scoop up Forsett before they do.

Good luck, and please see mine:

I missed an important point. This a pretty competitive 14 team league with keepers. The only keepable player of those 3 is Sims-Walker and he would cost a 13th round pick for me next year if I have him on the roster at the end of the year. I currently have $22 bid on both Walker and Knox with Walker having higher priority and then 10 on Forsett if I dont get either receiver. Overpaying here?
