Sims-Walker, Laurent Robinson, Manningham, Wade, or Forsett

Postby DukeVBall » Tue Sep 22, 2009 3:33 pm

0-2. I suck. I need a #2 WR. Crayton isn't getting it done. Non-PPR league.

Sims-Walker - JAX will be down a lot and often and he's the #1/2 (with Williamson done for year)
Laurent Robinson - the new #1 in STL and they HAVE to throw
Manningham - Has shown 2 good weeks. With Nicks and Hixon out, he's been shining. But I feel like any week 1 of 5 WR for the NYG can do well! Just like Crayton can any 2-3 weeks. I need consistency
Wade - KC WILL be throwing the ball. Bowe is getting double-teamed leaving Wade open. And Cassel likes the slot receiver.
Edelman- Don't think he's worth a flyer cause he's a short term bandaid for when Welker comes back

Forsett- SEA has an EASY rushing schedule

Was thinking of drafting Kolb against KC this week instead of Palmer against PIT. Or perhaps Delhomme against DAL...thoughts?

QB: Palmer
RB1: Forte
RB2: Grant
FLEX: K. Jones
WR1: OchoCinco
WR2: Crayton
TE: Witten
DEF: GB
K: Akers

BENCH: Hasselbeck, R. Bush, NYJ DEF, Henry, L. Moore, C. Henry(drop?), M. Moore(drop?), Edge (dropping)

I'd go with Robinson or Manningham.

Rams will have to throw but even so he's on a team that sucks.
I'm convinced Manningham has made a leap.

Thanks for seeing mine.

Go w/ Palmer... As you saw last week the steelers can be beat
Also Go after Manningham he should keep getting balls thrown his way and could be a viable number two for you.

Also I posted both of our rosters on my post thanks for the post and look at it again!

Definitely Manningham, but that may be the Giants fan in me talking. They aren't double teaming him yet but that may change soon. Wade comes second for the reason that you stated but I would be careful of the Chiefs' upcoming schedule. As for the QB situation, I'd also stick with Palmer. Isn't Vick coming in this week for special situations? I posted my lineup like you asked in my thread, can you follow up?

+1 on this list including Knox.

And actually what I would do is this:

Dump Edge for Manningham #1
Dump Moore (as he really doesn't have fantasy relevance) for Knox #2 (if Knox isn't there then go with Robinson)
Dump Henry or Moore even (Moore was WAY overrated coming into this year and none outside of Colston/Shockey and maybe PT/Bush will be fantasy starters out of New Orleans) for Justin Forsett #3 to offer some more RB depth on your bench.

A big thanks to deluxe_247 for the sweet sig!
