Improving Team Depth -- WHIR

Postby jetsflagboyz » Tue Sep 22, 2009 3:49 pm

PPR league. I get one waiver wire pick a week. This week, I pick 10th.

Because I only get one waiver pick a week, I try to always make a move. Whether its improving depth, getting rid of dead weight or preparing for bye weeks.

There are some decent names still out there: Manningham, Celek, Forsett, Buckhalter, Knox, Stuckey. Not to mention some players that could help me during byes Kerry Collins, a kicker, GB's D.

Who should I drop? Who is least valuable?

Josh Morgan
Jamal Charles
Earl Bennet
PPR - 12 team -- 1 waiver pickup a week

Matt Ryan
C. Johnson / J. Stewart
Jennings / Bowe/ Decker (Flex)
Pettigrew
Feely
PITT
Bench: Fred Davis / TITANS / Cam Newton / Crabtree / B. Jacobs / M. Ingram

Drop Jamal Charles, he didn't even suit up for the last game

Coach Todd Haley indicated that RB Jamaal Charles was inactive in Week 2 so Dantrell Savage could get a shot at playing time.

I agree. Keep bennet and Morgan, drop charles and depending who is on your team I'd pick up either knox, celek, or forsett.

Knox- I'm a bears fan so I watched both games, all preseason games, and followed training camp and Knox looks like he could be pretty good and Cutler seems to have an eye for him

Celek- leads philly in catches so he might decline a little but still a solid TE

Forsett- has been taking more and more carries from jones and has shown he can catch the ball

Hope this helps

I would drop Charles and pick up Manningham. If you're number 10, you probably won't get Manningham or Knox. But I agree with the others that Charles is the least valuable.

Help with mine please

Drop Charles, that team is garbage and he was benched (though he will be back, I just hate KC). Manningham is your Man(ningham).

I would probably drop Charles AND Morgan as I think they are both bums.

I would pick up Manningham and best RB, perhaps Buckhalter - at least he is playing and gettings yards, can't say that about Charles!

Help please!?

To break it down:

Manningham>Knox>Stuckey>Bennett
Buckhalter>Forsett>Charles

I would drop them all if I could, but you gotta dump Charles, he's worthless!

Josh Morgan is not doing anything out in SF and they barely pass it as it is...unless ts to bruce, gore, or vernon..
I would say that if you dropped him y ou wouldnt have to worry about people picking him up either!

Help with mine??
