I need some help with swinging some trades to condense talent. I currently don't have enough bench room to make waiver moves due to handcuffs at the RB position (I would like to do this for defenses primarily, a backup QB, and Bye weeks). My WR's are set since I can move Ochocinco to WR during bye weeks. Does anyone have good ideas to propose? I'd like to move Jackson/Lynch and/or LT2/Sproles for a featured back.
That team is great for a 14 team league. Not sure how you pulled all those picks off. I think it will be tough to move the packages you want for fair value because most people don't want to trade for the back and their handcuff. If you can swing a trade like that though, I trade LT/Sproles because I think others will perceive it is the better combo, but to me, LT is injury prone and I like Jackson better as a backup than I do Sproles. As for one of your reasons for doing this being a bye week Defense, I wouldn't let that be a reason, just drop your current D and pick up another that week. Most D's are a dime a dozen. Only worry about hanging onto the top 3 or so D's, the others are interchangable. I wouldn't mess with this team too much, you have a good team.
Here's how it went down. Knew it was a good one, but I wasn't aware at how well Fred Jackson would play (it's both a blessing and a curse). If only I had picked up C. Johnson w/ the first pick I wouldn't even be on this forum right now. 20/20, I know. Is James Davis even worth a spot anymore? That would provide some flexibility to make room...

How about Sproles/LT2 for Kevin Smith or is that ridiculous in some way?
LT/Sproles is too much for Kevin Smith, but your team would still be solid. I am in the same boat with James Davis. He is one Lewis injury from breaking out after how he looked in preseason, but it's a big if because he can't get healthy himself. I think it is safe to drop him if you need the flexibility. Would your leagues Lewis owner want his handcuff? Maybe send him Davis for something (won't be worth much because he hasn't done anything regular season) but maybe you can get something that gives you the flexibility you are looking for. Don't know if your Lewis owner would be receptive, but worth putting a feeler out. Beyond that, I would sit where you're at unless you have to make a move.
Again, if you feel the need for flexibility, a player I might look to move if I was you is Fred Jackson. Although I think he will continue to have a good season, his production will be cut and right now his value is EXTREMELY high. Sell high if you're going to sell. I wouldn't package him with Lynch if I did it, just send him on his way (unless you are really blown away with an offer that requests both).
