HUGE DEAL!!! WHIRASAP

Postby mcace » Tue Sep 22, 2009 6:10 pm

I'm being offered Michael Turner, Patrick Crayton and Bernard Berrian for Marques Colston, Cedric Benson and Caddy. I'm not too high on Caddy, and Benson could be good, but I'm not too worried about losing him. Colston is my second WR, and Brees has a lot of options, so he may not get the ball often. Turner is a top pick, and the other two are serviceable. Do I take it? I'd have Mojo, Jackson and Turner then, all possible top 5 picks.

His team:
NotreShame
QB Trent Edwards
WR Calvin Johnson
RB Michael Turner
TE John Carlson
W/R/T Percy Harvin
W/R/T Thomas Jones
W/R/T Patrick Crayton
K Nate Kaeding
DEF Green Bay
BN Carson Palmer
BN Tim Hightower
BN Anquan Boldin
BN Pierre Thomas
BN Jay Cutler
BN Bernard Berrian

My team:
Prestige Worldwide
QB Matt Schaub
WR Reggie Wayne
RB Maurice Jones-Drew
TE Todd Heap
W/R/T Steven Jackson
W/R/T Marques Colston
W/R/T Kevin Smith
K Neil Rackers
DEF San Diego
BN Hasselbeck
BN Chad Ochocinco
BN Larry Johnson
BN Cedric Benson
BN Donald Brown
BN Cadillac Williams

Yeaa man i would do that deal...
Turner - he gets all of the carries, and most of the action in ATL, and the goal line scores
Crayton - Great upside with only roy and Witten
Berrian - Also going to to well in MInn. with only percy harvin and AP

you would be giving up only
Colston, who your getting 2 WR's for that you will play
and Benson and Caddillac cant keep this up for long...unlike TURNER the BURNer

i'd say do the tradee!

help with mine plzzz

My only concern is Turner's schedule...

I'd stay put. I think Colston will put up huge numbers. You have plenty of talent at RB so I don't necessarily think you need to upgrade. I think there's a bigger dropoff between Crayton and Colston than there is between Jackson/Smith and Turner. How in the world did you end up with Wayne, Drew, Jackson, Colston, and Smith? I think you may have Donald Brown in your lineup by year's end. I am in a keeper league and I have Brady, Peterson, and Fitz and somehow I'm 0-2. Anyways, please help..

I agree on staying put, i think Colston is gonna be nuts this year. i am not a big fan of turner, hes good dont get me wrong but i think he had an easy schedule last year and faces much tuffer teams this year

I would stay put. In your system, the other two players aren't going to be a factor in the trade. It's essentially Turner for Colston. Colston is going to beat Turner numbers-wise.

I agree. Colston's numbers will be bigger than Turner's and you already have a stacked stable of running backs. Brees is on a mission to break Marino's passing yards record and Colston will be accountable for a large amount of them.
