Trade offer I don't think I can refuse...PLEASE HELP!

Postby Tuna_Melt » Tue Sep 22, 2009 6:21 pm

Some one trying to get rid of Slaton has finally made a reasonable offer. Looking at my team you can see that I have a nice cushion in my RB core, since we can play 3 max.

However he offered me Slaton for LJ & Caddy... :-?

This would give my starting line-up in RB's a strong prescence...but could also backfire:

RB1: M Turner
RB2: R Brown
RB3: S Slaton (if I were to make trade)

I normally just switched between Caddy & LJ for that 3rd spot, but having Slaton in there could prove to be lethal.

Here is my team going into week 3:

Week 3 Lineup:
QB - ScHaub
WR - A. Boldin
WR - N. Burelson
RB - M. Turner
RB - R. Brown
TE - D. Clark
W/T - Berrian
W/R - Caddy
K - J. Feeley
DEF - Green Bay
D - O. Atogwe
D - P. Willis

BENCH: Hasselbeck, LJ, Gage, L. Ronbinson, I. Bruce

PLEASE let me hear some thoughts and input on this situation...I'm leaning toward taking it, but need some good input.

THX!!!

While I am not very high on Slaton this year, you cannot turn down this trade. Caddy will not continue to produce as he has, and LJ just isn't that good. Slaton actually has upside, and if he starts producing at the rate he was drafted to produce at, your RB situation would be amazing.

I agree with the above post.

LJ will either end up getting hurt and hasn't been the same since his golden days and Cadillac shares the ball with two other RBs and has injury problems.

Slaton should start running better, he did just face a solid Ten defense and even the Jets defense is good.

Accept it.

Yea...I had him last year and he became my favorite RB to watch...I really wanna make this trade.

Just dunno if having Schaub and Slaton is a bad idea??
