If it's a PPR league, I'd think about doing it based on your RB situation. Jets D is an upgrade over Packers D. Royal won't have a big year but in a PPR league I think he still has potential to do some things for you. Portis will upgrade your #2 rb spot substantially. It really depends if you think the difference between Roddy White and Eddie Royal is less than what Portis gives you over Moreno. If you think it's even then I think the D favors the Jets..

I would absolutely do this.....

Roddy is great and your WR corp would take a hit but you still would have Housh, Roy and Royal.....I have Royal as well but not giving up hope on him and he should (according to some experts I have read) say he will turn it around!

You have a shoddy RB corp though and Portis will be a huge addition so I think this would be an all around fit for you. (Plus I LOVE the Jet's Def this season)

I would pull the trigger on the trade!

Yeah your WR depth allows you to do this. Portis would help your RB corps tremendously. Plus if this is a PPR you're in even better shape.

I would see if he would take someone less than roddy and in exchange you take a lesser receiver than royal. Portis will help a TON, but the GB DEF is awesome. Not because they themselves are awesome but the schedule they play. Jets still have to play a really tough schedule!
