After Bush's impressive start I'm not as high as I once was on PT, but given the trade details I think you pull the trigger on this trade. It's only a matter of time before Brown starts for Indy and Mason may be serviceable as a bye week replacement but not much more with the WR's you have. I wouldn't start PT right away but I like his upside better than Addai's.

i was going to pick up knox with my free slot. i was going to get rid of miles austin for knox but i like his upside better than masons. plus masons easier to trade than austin lol. it would basically make it an addai + mason for pt and knox

i have austin for knox on my ww request. The guy wanted a wr and told another guy that he really wanted royal but would take mason which would prob make the trade fall thro. i guess i should have rephrased and said i like/want to keep austin stashed away cause i think he could develop into something better than mason by years end.either way he wont take austin in the trade

i usually leave my scoring system out of my headlines as ppl shy away cause its awkward, but i know ur good enough to consider my system in the trade as well maddog. My scoring is....

1pt per 10yds rush/rec 5pt bonus for 100yds rush/rec (ex: 3 catches for 100 yds = 18 pts. 15 for yds and 3 for catches)
1ppr
6pt for td 1-9yds
9pts for td 10-39yds
12pts for 40+yds

which is why i like austins potential a bit better than mason. one 40yd td catch = 17pts. 12 for td, 1 for catch, 4 for the yds

I would do it. I don;t see addai doing much this year, and you're strong enough to lose mason. Thomas has a lot of upside.

God I still do like Addai a lot although (judging by the leftovers thread on him which i believe i saw you on) most Cafe members don't. I don't for see Brown taking him over that easily and still think hes good for 1000-1200 Total yards with 10 TDs and 35-40 receptions.

With that said tho I think I would do this trade based solely on upside. Hell if Bell can run for 143 yards week 1 and well on his way to 100 on the pace he was going in week 2, I have to believe PT can do this and more. PT is a great receiving back which will balance out what receptions you might loose from Addai, while at the same time they play in 2 very explosive offenses. When you put it the way you did tho I really like the idea of the deal being Mason and Addai for PT and ((( Knox ))) off the FA list. I think you would win by quite a bit with that deal. I'm no longer as high as I was on Mason in a PPR, hes getting older and slower day by day and like you said Austin has major upside in your scoring system and I think Knox has even more then him.

I like the deal for you now and in the future. Pretty cool scoring system BTW. ;-D
