Get Manningham or Steve Smith (NYG)

Postby nordicthunder » Wed Sep 23, 2009 12:04 am

1. I need to upgrade my receiving core. I want Manningham or Steve Smith (NYG) - who is the better pick up?

2. I need to drop Mason, Holt, or D. Henderson - which would you drop?

Thanks.

Being a giants fan I'd probably say manningham just becuase he has big play potential. if you're in a ppr league however, smith is your guy. he's more consistent and manning targets him a lot. He just hasn't really been used as ared zone threat (though no one on the team really has been this year.)

Agreed with this, but if it were me I'd think strongly about dropping both Holt (whos just getting old and the Jags passing offense hasn't looked that great thus far, and if Sims-Walker stays healthy he has a very legit shot at becoming the new #1 in that WR core) and Henderson (toooooooooo many damn options in New Orleans for anyone aside from Colston, Shockey and either PT or Bush to have substantial fantasy relevance).
