Ray Rice for Greg Jennings

Postby Twotoe » Wed Sep 23, 2009 12:10 am

Hi. one of the owners in my league is antsy after Jennings's let down last night, and mentioned he was interested in ray rice.
trading ray would leave me a bit thin at Rb and consdiering it's a 14 team league there isn't mush left on waivers (fred taylor, justin forsett, rashard Mendehall and lesean mcCoy seem like interesting options). anyway, do I do the trade? will help with yours.

last week i would have said no, but this week i think i would do it. jennings had a bad week, but he and rodgers are both to good to throw up goose eggs. and with mcgahees performance last week... things look a bit dicey for rice

Id do that in a heartbeat. Yes they shut Jennings down last week, but it won't happen again. Rice also is a bit overvalued right now simply because not most if any thought that McGahee would perform like he has thus far this year (aside from me, which I own Willis in 3 of my leagues ;-D ).

I would for sure do this deal then start shopping. Shop TJ Housh/Hightower for a better top WR then add McCoy. or Mason/Driver/Hightower for a middle tier RB and WR combo and add McCoy.

A big thanks to deluxe_247 for the sweet sig!

I think that I would do it, to get Jennings for Rice, I'm making this move in a second. I think that Rice will be in a crowded backfield all season long so Jennings will be a more consistent producer for you each year. Also with MacGahee in the backfield he will be taking the td runs most of the carries. Get Jennings if you can. Good luck.
