Both QBs I have are facing stout defenses this week..
Carson Palmer, coming off a 4 touchdown performance this past week, vs a tough Pittsburgh defense (although more against the run than the pass)
or
Brett Favre, coming off a solid but not spectacular week, vs a 49er defense that has shut down the air attack of both teams they've faced so far, including Kurt Warner and the Cardinals potent offense.
I'm leaning towards Palmer because Favre just doesn't pass enough on a run-heavy Vikings offense.. So who would you start? WHIR!
QB - Drew Brees, Tony Romo RB - Adrian Peterson, Trent Richardson, Alfred Morris, Jacquizz Rodgers WR - Brandon Marshall, Julio Jones, Vincent Jackson, Anquan Boldin, Golden Tate TE - Heath Miller DEF - Rotating K - Justin Tucker
It's a tough call, but based on what we've seen up to this point (Palmer can, and is, throwing a lot while Favre isn't; Pitt's D has only two sacks thus far this year) I'd say go with Palmer.
(0.5 PPR, 12-team league) QB: Vick, RG3 RB: McFadden, Matthews, K. Smith, R. Williams, M. Goodson WR: Nicks, S. Smith, Britt, LaFell TE: Hernandez, Pitta K: Bironas DEF: Spot start (Cin in wk4)
i'd go w/ palmer. pitt's d is not as stout w/out polomalu roaming the secondary, and there's no reason for farvuh to throw downfield w/ AD in the backfield. good luck!
