Shockey vs Heap

Postby panthers1788 » Wed Sep 23, 2009 7:30 am

Alright, Jeremy Shockey and Todd Heap are both available in my league as free agents (Salary Cap Dynasty League). Who do you think I should go after? Shockey sucked last yer but is playing better this year. Baltimore is a run first time vs NO Air show.....what to do?

Not even close. Grab Shockey! New Orleans is a passing machine and Shockey will get a piece of the pie! Help me please:http://www.fantasyfootballcafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=448968

This is a tough one, Heap when he came into the league was a top te, but injuries the past few years have hurt him, plus a rebuilding o-line kept him in blocking. If he can stay healthy I can see him having a decent bounce back year. Shockey has also had injury problems, had a great first game, was banged up after the first game, put up similar numbers in the second game, but no tds. I think with the two teams I would go after Heap, simply because the lack of top wr's and he will be more of a target than Shockey will be week in week out in NO. Good luck.
