Due to some good food, I went out of my gourd in a couple of leagues and grabbed both Crayton and Austin. Now, I need a roster spot and I came across a FanHouse article- "Don't let that first game against Tampa Bay fool you, Roy Williams is not going to do you much good this season. At this point let's just call it like it is, he's an inconsistent option who can give you a few nice games here and there, but live as a ghost in others. He has clearly not gained the trust of Romo and for good measure... As for Patrick Crayton and Miles Austin, it's quite hard to gauge where they stand. Much like Roy Williams they each had a somewhat "breakout" game in Week 1. Again though, the argument can be made about the situation and circumstances."
Any other opinions on Dallas' wideouts? Comments on the article itlsef?
I've been pretty down on Roy Williams all off season to be honest...I've just seen him underperform so much on a consistent basis throughout his career that I can't see him being a consistent #1 guy for a team like this. I think we'll also continue to see that Romo is again an inconsistent and overrated QB in this league who always seems to fall apart when it matters.

I agree completely. Roy Williams, in my book, is a fantasy WR3. What do you think of Austin and Crayton?
For whatever it's worth, I just saw a replay of Roy Williams blocking downfield for Barber. It was nothing like Hines Ward or Vincent Jackson locking up the defensive back- no, Williams was running with the DB flailing his arms like he was trying to herd chickens.
I can't comment on Roy Williams since I fear my opinion has been forever tainted by his years of underachieving in a Lions uni. If I were to comment, I have to say that I don't recall ever watching Roy play a game and feeling like "Wow, he must be spent." He never appears to give great effort, runs lazy, soft, rounded routes, shies away from contact and traffic, and acts like his two catches for a couple first downs is more than enough to justify his existance. He in no way comes close to replacing the effects that TO had on Ds. I mean, you know. If I were to comment.
I think losing TO may be placing way too much of a strain on underachiever Crayton, not-ready-for-primetime Austin, and Romo. Hope that was some good food.
I think, therefore I am. I think fantasy, therefore I am unreal?

IMO, R Williams, I don't like his game or his attitude. I can't see him doing anything outdoors in the cold NFC East division games. He should be trade bait.
and I like crayton (better than austin), I think he is rosterable and a WR4/5 in match-up plays.

Maybe if my team has back-2-back lowest scoring weeks I will see if I can find that one and fly Diva for a week.

Just saw a replay of the B Johnson interception of Romo last week. Roy was the nearest Cowboy. Instead of chasing him down, running through any Giants along the way, he tries to run around the DB at the 15 second mark of this video. He really does fear contact. Nothing like Hines Ward.
