Could someone tell me what the heck all the preseason hype was about?

I should have known that Kyle Orton would have destroyed any value this WR had. Orton is like Mush from "A Bronx Tale"! Stick Orton in a damn closet or bathroom, or whatever the hell it was, and lets move on!

Is Royal's season shot? I know that I have zero confidence in starting him. Unless he can at least put 2 solid games together.

Kyle Orton gave the Bears a winning record somehow, without being good at either football or Fantasy Stat Accumulation (which is his primary motivation in life.)

Seriously. They're 2-0 without being good. They're fake good. Just like the Bears were with him. He HAS to hurt Eddie Royal. His season is not shot, but he's a huge downgrade from the team with Cutler, and I don't care who says otherwise.

Here is what McDaniels said about the Royal situation.. I see Royal as a very 700 Yard, 65 Catch, 5 TD guy..


Coach Josh McDaniels indicated that Eddie Royal's numbers are down because he's been drawing extra defensive attention this year.

"We're not going to try and jam it into one guy when we have 10 players that are worth throwing the ball too," explained McDaniels.

Living here in Colo and watching all the Den games, I can tell you McDaniels does like Stokley alot..Last week he called alot of plays looking for him and Stokley had a OK 5 catch 70 yard game..Stokley may have better #'s than Royal this yr.

I'm hoping so . . . just picked up Stokely in my money league, afert I looked on the Broncos depth chart and saw that he was officially listed as the starter ahead of Brandon Marshall. I think Orton likes him, and the coach likes him, so we'll see if he turns into WW gold.

Yeah I knew Orton was gonna hurt Royal's value, but hurt it to the point where he sucks now?? I didn't see that coming. Hopefully Royal will turn it around, he deserves better. It could be worse, he could have JaKerry Russell as the QB.
