Yeah after watching the highlights I sae just how much both McDaniels and Orton like Stockley. Royal does have a better shot at redeeming himself than Marshall thouhgh. IMO theyre both screwed ADP wise though.
Drop him? Id just bench him for a while with Balt, Pitt and New England coming up, Royal is not a good play..Have him on the bench or trade him to some sucker and get a decent WR in return..I really see huge declines across the board in Royals #'s this year
I thought Royal was going at least two rounds too high this year. I wasn't touching him. I suppose he could turn it around when Denver starts losing and they have to start slinging it 50 times a game.
It is not Orton that is hurting Royal. He is not calling the plays. McDaniels is using 3 or 4 WR sets regularly, and it is Ortons job to throw the ball to the open receiver. As of right now, Gaffney and Stokley are much better at getting open in this offense.
Jay Cutler forces balls to his receivers no matter what, and last year the Broncos had Marshall and Royal on the field every play. Even if Royal starts to get open, his upside is very limited. Not enough balls to go around in Denver with all the different players they are getting involved.
After today, I have to throw in the cards. One catch? Nah, that doesn't work. Love his skills, but can't wait for him to ante up. Yes, I am going to do a Royal Flush.
I think, therefore I am. I think fantasy, therefore I am unreal?
