Kevin Walter (HOU)
-or-
Mike Sims-Walker (JAX)?
The teams play each other, and both rank in the lower third of the league in pass defense (Houston is ranked a bit better). Kevin Walter has been out with the hamstring injury, and I'm not sure how effective he'll be during his first week back, but he had tons of production last year so I'm hoping he'll return to form soon. Andre Johnson has been a beast though, so that worries me.
Mike Sims-Walker produced a lot last week (six catches for 106 yards with a TD), but I'm scared that it might be an anomaly. But with Troy Williamson out for the season, Sims-Walker could be the real deal. My quarterback this week is most likely going to be Garrard, who gets 6 points per TD pass, so starting Sims-Walker gives me the chance to double up if he scores. But he is largely unproven, so I am definitely unsure about starting him.
What are your thoughts? Who should I start, and why?
I am leaning towards Walter, but Sims-Walker could be the real deal.
Thoughtful responses are appreciated, and please, post your thread so I can help in return.
