My lineup this week WHIR

Postby techman5003 » Fri Sep 25, 2009 2:45 pm

What should I change? Starters in bold

My roster:
Start - 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 flex (WR/RB), 1 K, 1 DEF
QB – Aaron Rodgers, Trent Edwards
RB – Steven Jackson, Westbrook, Chris Wells, Felix Jones, Tashard Choice
WR – Welker, Roy Williams, DeSean Jackson, Kevin Walter, Mario Manningham
TE - Gonzo, Cooley
K - Robbie Gould
DEF - Bears, 'Boys

Thinking about starting Westbrook instead of Welker. Don't know if either is going to play. I guess that would leave me with Roy Williams.

Will help with yours. leave link.

I like Westbrooks matchup if he plays, it looks pretty questionable at this point so if he is a no go, I would leave it as it is. Looks like Felix will be seeing a majority of carries this week so $$ there.

Def start Welker if he can play, if not Williams is a great second choice as the panthers play alot of zone coverage, so it looks like you're set there.

Everything else looks good brother! ;-D

If you got a min!

for qb, i think your fine with rodgers.. i believe that he will bounce back from his slow start, he is just too good to play like a mediocre qb.. trent is a good option as a starter too since he will be likely in a shootout against the NO, watchout though coz i smell an upset coming.. to tell u the truth, on one of my teams i have trent starting over philip rivers on one of my teams: this is how im confident about edwards will have a great day & BUF upsetting NO..

for rb, steven jackson & westy are no brainers.. just check out before gametime on sunday to see if westy plays.. if westy does not play, use felix jones with confidence as your rb2.. felix played well against the NYG, & he scored a td & got the most carries over choice after mb3 left the game...

for wr, start welker & desean.. just check for news before gametime to see if both guys will play or not.. atl's d has been good, but im still not buying their db's, so this could be a big game for ne's pass offense, & they also likely wana prove to anyone that last week was just a fluke.. roy williams is another option though incase either wes or djax dont play, but im not still not buying that roy will be romo's go to guy.. mario is another solid guy to start since tb's pass d has been getting burned lately, but beware that talib & barber are no slouches either...

for d/st, i prefer the bears over the cowboys... if seneca starts, i expect CHI to find ways to get turnovers from him.. even though they lost brian, i think CHI is still a good stream option.. just watchout though coz CHI is susceptible to big pass plays with their suspect pass d.. DAL is off to a slow start with them giving alot of pts, & to me they should belong to the waivers for now.. You might also wana check out WAS, OAK, & DEN as an option this week...

btw for flex, its either felix or mario.. with felix as your 1st option, then mario as your 3rd.. roy will just be your 3rd option incase either felix or mario is starting at wr & rb...

I would put in Edwards over Rodgers. He's playing NO and that GB o-line has MAJOR issues they are going to have to work harder to establish the run in order to open up the pass instead of the opposite way which is how they've been playing.

Roy Williams over DeShaun. DeShaun is banged up and I doubt that Philly is in any rush to get him or keep him out there if they have a lead which they probably will. KC sucks.
