Trade help! Parker/Caddy for Bradshaw/Washington WHIR

Postby timbobtoy13 » Fri Sep 25, 2009 7:35 pm

Should I trade Willie Parker and Caddy Williams for Bradshaw and Leon Washington? Gives me Jacobs handcuff and a good option in Washington.

12 man league. Start 1qb 3 wr 2 rb 1 te 1 k 1 d

Here's my team

QB: Rodgers, Flacco
WR: A. Johnson, Colston, L. Robinson, Ginn
RB: Jacobs, Parker, Rice, Cadillac, Ward, Mendenhall
TE: Clark
K: Carney
D: Green Bay

leave me a link and I will help

Well .. you have Mendenhall, who very well might outscore fast Willie more weeks than not.

Caddy has more value atm imo than any of the players metioned I think, simply because he's seeming to get the goal line carries. But he has 2 other backs to split with otherwise.

Bradshaw is a backup, but with lots of potential and will get at least some points every week.

Washington is similar in that you can expect him not to hurt you, but wont put up alot of big weeks.

Really tough call if you ask me. Seems like a fair trade for both sides.

I personally would try and make the other guy ( assuming its his offer), sweeten the deal a bit.

Your gonna have to go with your gut on this one .. believe I'd pass and hope for a better offer.

Thx for the help with mine

I like the idea of dumping FWP and Caddy, but I think you might be able to get a little bit more in return. Last I heard Caddy has knee issues again, so I would try to sell high on him.

Even if the other owner doesn't budge, I still think I'd do it. Looks like you'll probably start your 2nd RB based on matchups anyway, and I like the potential of Bradshaw/Leon over FWP/Caddy.

Good luck, and please see mine:

I'm ambivalent on this one. It seems pretty even with the other guy having a slight edge, so I think I'd just hold on to what you have unless the other guy can sweeten the pot. Thanks for your help with mine!

I wouldn't do it either. Because Caddy has shown more than the other two guys so far. And Willie has upside if he can get running like he used to.
