My Manningham and D.Brown for M.Lynch and Cotchery?

Postby UM_Wolverines19 » Fri Sep 25, 2009 9:54 pm

I salivated at this offer at first glance, but i still would like some other opinions. jackson may steal a large chunk of lynch's workload when he returns next week, and manningham's first two performances have been lights out. i doubt that super mario will continue at this pace, but as a michigan fan i'm afraid i'll regret unloading him if he ends up having a monster year. my league has espn standard scoring (no PPR).

My roster:

QB: McNabb, Edwards
RB: Slaton, P. Thomas, McGahee, J Stew, and D. Brown
WR: Fitz, Colston, Berrian, S. Smith (NYG), Manningham
TE: Gates
DST: Eagles, Chargers
K: Elam

I would make this trade. I have Lynch also and I wonder what Jackson's production will do to Lynch's workload but I think he will still do good..

Thanks for your help.

I doubt Lynch will do worse than Brown will. And I don't see you starting Manningham over your top WRs anyway. I think it's worth it in case Lynch takes off. If not you still have strong starters and it wouldn't hurt you.

Good luck!
Passing TDs = 4
All other TDs = 6
100 yd rushing bonus = 4

All other basic scoring

VERY strict rosters...MUST have:

2 QBs (start 1)
3 RBs (start 2)
4 WRs (start 2)
2 TEs (start 1)
2 D/STs (start 1)
2 Ks (start 1)

I think Lynch > Brown and Cotch > Manningham.

Manninghams numbers may drop off when Hixon is healthy again. We all know what Lynch can do. I think he gets his job back week 4. Brown may end up being the starter, but I wouldn't be ready to sell the farm. And I would rather have Lynch in an RBBC as RB1a than Brown in an RBBC as RB1b.
