Start Warner or Big Ben WHIR

I know the colts have the #1 pass defense but the colts haven't faced a difficult passing attack yet. I think Warner has more upside but Big Ben may be a safer pick.... I wanted to get your guys opinions!

On the surface I ALMOST agree with you, so I'd do this. Make your choice based on how you feel the rest of your team will do versus your opponent. If your league rules allow roster changes up to shortly before the games, set your line-up now with the safer of the two. Since neither of them start at 1Pm you could then reevaluate your teams early scoring status and change your lineup as you feel is necessary as long as you do it before either of them starts there game.

Sorry but I gotta say who did you draft high? Warner of course. I see this game as a shoot out and Warner will throw a lot. Thats not Bens strong suit (I know he has had good games) but he is no Warner. The only down side of drafting Warner as your starter was can he make it through a season? Don't sit him if he isn't hurt! Would you sit Brees or Payton against the Colts D? No! Play him like you drafted him!

Good luck, Help me next week!

In the spirt of full disclosure I am a huge Cardinal homer but I think Warner is going to have a huge week. First, Boldin and Breaston will be playing which will open up the passing attack like it did last week. The good news is that Colts will keep the game interesting in the second half so you won't have to worry about Leinart. Second, I think the Colts defensive passing stats are misleading since they faced two of the weakest passing teams in the NFL. Third, its a home game and arguably the biggest game of the week. It'll, unlike years past, be packed with a loud home crowd.

The one down side is that the Colts have shown to be terrible against the run. I think Beanie should get more carries and expact the russing attack (if he can hold onto the ball).

I don't think Ben is a bad start but the Bengals didn't give up a 300 yard game to Rodgers who is a much better fantasy quarterback than Big Ben.
