So you think he has passed him in dynasty. I just ask because I have the 1.1, 1.3 & 1.5 picks in my rookie draft. Is it possible I get Wells and then get Moreno at 1.3? How sweet would that be.
Broncos agreed to terms with RB Knowshon Moreno, the No. 12 overall pick, on a five-year, $23 million contract. The deal is expected to contain at least $12.5 million in guarantees. Moreno will be behind LaMont Jordan and Correll Buckhalter in the race for the starting job, but pre-camp reports about him being the focal point of the offense suggest he'll make up time in a hurry. Now that he has signed and only missed about a week hopefully he can get up to speed quickly. It will be interesting how it all shakes out. McDaniels I believe will want to give Moreno every opportunity to take the job himself. But of course we will see what happens over the next few weeks.
Broncos rookie Knowshon Moreno limped to the locker room with an undisclosed leg injury during the second quarter of Friday's game. The Broncos announced only that Moreno is questionable to return with a leg injury. He showed a very nice burst on three carries for 18 yards before his exit. Stay tuned for details.
