HESTER or SIMS-WALKER as #3WR....100$ WHIR

Postby Fasteddy » Sun Sep 27, 2009 7:51 am

Which do I start as my #3 WR (standard scoring with no ppr)

WR..CHI...D. Hester...at SEA....everyone seems to be touting SEA pass defense which held back STL (big deal) and SF (who ran the cock on them).

WR..JAC..M. Sims-Walker...At HOU...sure it's HOU but JAC also has HOLT and a running game and it's in thier interest to run this week.

ii would go with hester. JAX plan is to pound the running game and with HOU run d being bad i expect them to ride it out all game.

Go with Hester... Hou's pass d isn't nearly as bad as it's run d, so Jac will be running as long as they don't fall behind. Plus w/ Hester there's always the outside chance of a return TD.

Thanks for the help on mine.

Lots of people, myself included, see a few replies that are the same and don't feel the need to reply to an already answered question. How many replies that you should start Hester do you need? The only reason I would start Hester is that I think Jax will run the ball all day, thus, less targets for Walker. Good luck

I agree that Hester is the start here. I think that JAX will have a lot of success running the ball with MJD and prob wont have to look to the air too often (and even when they do they have holt getting looks as well). I think hester is a very solid start against a SEA defense that hasnt really been tested this year. while CHI may be a run first team, Cutler does not seem to throw little check down passes to forte the way orton used to. that means more involvement for the CHI receivers of which hester is their #1. hester is talented and athletic as hell, now that he has a QB who can get him the ball i think he should be money most weeks (esp vs mediocre defenses like SEA). Something to the tune of 5 catches for 80 yards and a td seems about right this week. with the upside potential that he breaks a long one or gets a kick/punt return td (though I dont know if your league awards points for that). Start hester with confidence and good luck this week!

Thanks for the help on mine. Very useful
