Fred Jackson Was Great. But What About Now?

Postby Retet » Mon Sep 28, 2009 8:00 am

What do people here think about Fred Jackson's role in the Buffalo running game with the return of Lynch. Is Jackson now the "change of pace" back? A 50/50 split? Or will Lynch be relegated to the number two role?

At the start of the year, I would have thought that Lynch would have gone back to 20 carries a game. Now I think we'll see BUF mirror the way MIA is handling their RB situation with Brown and Williams - meaning slightly more for Lynch, but not much.

What matters to me is the GL carries, which will be all Lynch. I think Lynch is the man to own here, although I don't like either. They just lost a lineman too.

I could definitely see 55% - 45% favoring Lynch

Man the way Jackson has played it's a shame that this is even being talked about cause he certainly deserves to continue being the starter but this is going to turn into one of those bad rb situations now. I agree with the 55-45 thought but I doubt we will be able to really tell which way it will go cause I think if the Bills are down in the game they will go to Jackson more cause he's a better wr out of the backfield.
