Tomlin decided to keep Mendenhall from playing an offensive down because he had a bad week of practice. This is pretty big news considering most fantasy owners thought Mendenhall would assume the role of starting RB this year. Thanks to The Lung for this update:
Are you shocked or did you kind of figure this was coming? I've said elsewhere that Mend wasn't ready to assume due to his fumbleitis, Parker's not willing to surrender, and one other thing (I forget right now).

I thought Parker would hold on to the job. Mendy has never shown me anything to suggest he is pro material. He did in College of coarse but not since he has been on the Steelers. I just figured it would be at least another year or 2 efore he wrenches it away.
I was pissed that the Cowboys didn't take him until I saw what Jones could do. Then I realized why I'm in sales and not drafting for the Cowboys.
