...gave up Fred Taylor, 1-for1. His team is leading the league and is 3-0 so far, I am 2-1 but have Warner on a bye next week and Leftwich (now benched) WAS my back-up, but I dropped him for Tashard Choice earlier this week after I learned MB3 missed his walk-thrus on sunday afternoon. My new roster reads:
*Big $$$ 12 tm, H2H Hyper-performance/Milestone keeper league: QB-RB-RB-WR-WR-WR-TE-K-D/ST + several other options *Warner, Flacco *AP,*Slaton, Bradshaw, T.Choice, Chester T. *RWhite,*Mason,*Holt, E.Bennett, M.Austin, Meachem *Carlson, Fasano *Kaeding *MINN D/ST (2-1)
I believe it was a win-win for both teams, as the owner I traded with just lost Gore for 3 weeks, he was desperate, and Flacco kinda fell into my lap, I guess you could say... I have Mason, so I'll get the "double-up" on any TDs Flacco throws him.
Anyone think I gave up too much? It's not like New England's backfield is set in stone or anything...
I don't think you gave up to much.. I traded Flacco for Westbrook, granted it was to a guy who was semi new to fantasy football but he wasn't playing him anyways.
Flacco for Westy is a shrewd move, but McCoy got an awful lot of touches this past week, granted that won't be the case every week obviously... hell, so far Flacco has outscored most RBs in the Fantasy world, let alone QBs not named Brees of course. Hopefully Harbaugh leaves the playbook open for Joe, can't see why he'd close it after the 3 performances by his signal caller so far...
GL!

You have plenty of RB depth to get through a season with. I think Flacco has plenty of high scoring weeks to come. NE's backfield has zero consistency.
Just gave you a shout out on your question, hope it helped... the tough part now for me, is if Flacco lights it up again next week, can I, in good conscience SIT Warner until he starts throwing more TDs or takes better care of of the ball, and just plug in Joe every week? Baltimore seems to have changed their m.o. of just a power-run attack, that 72yard TD to Mason (who I also have) was SWEEEEEEEET!!!!!
