Which RB do I start?

So I got two promising RB's in the draft and neither are doing what they were supposed to : Slaton and Forte. Who do I start in a fairly standard scoring situation (points for yards, receptions and TD's)? Forte against DET has to be a good possibility and Slaton looks like he's starting to come around.

How to decide?
