McGahee for Addai and Burleson...WHIR

Postby letterafteri » Tue Sep 29, 2009 9:15 pm

What do you think...PPR leauge. I don't need Burleson really but he'd be decent sitting on my bench. Will McGahee keep getting the tds, will Addai hold of Brown and injury??? I don't know, that's why I'm asking you.

So...trade my McGahee for his Addai and Burleson?

Thx for the help. I got Jennings.

What does the rest of your team look like? Addai and McGahee are valued at about the same in my book. but who would you have to drop for Burleson?

depending on who you drop I like the trade.

I can drop a Justin Forsett, a Jamal Lewis or a Packers/Bears D.

Thanks for the response.

I actually like McGahee for you (Though he's killing me as a Ray Rice owner), and as long as Addai's splitting carries with an explosive-looking Donald Brown, there's no reason to make this deal. Why trade a guy who's scoring 2 tds a game in his committee attack for a guy who's losing redzone looks and crunch-time carries in a committee of his own?

I would stay put. See if you can pick up Harrison for Cle. I think Lewis is done and see Harrison playing decent this year

I would stay put... Addai is going to lose his job to brown sooner or later and McGahee is doing great for you right now... There is plenty of WR depth that can be found on the WW, im assuming.

Check out my trade?

I would probably think about it. Addai is going to catch more passes than McGahee. If you are PPR league, addai is giving you half a TD/game just in reception points/game right there on top of 50/75 yards. I don't think McGahee is going to keep going at this pace with the TDs. I think Addai will end up with 10 or so TDs on the year, plus the additional points he will get from receptions will be like having another 4/5, over McGahee's pace plus about 75 yards/scrimmage/game.

Depends on who your other WRs, but if Burleson is a significant upgrade over whoever is starting for you at WR, it's probably worth it.

without seeing the rest of your team, I'd stay with Mcgahee
