Which QB to trade? WHIR!!!

Postby woowoo crew » Tue Sep 29, 2009 9:45 pm

I want to offer a trade to the guy who has Pennington in my league, since he's out for the year, and his only other back-up is Cassel. **My league is VERY QB friendly: 1pt per completion, 1 pt. per 10 yds passing & rushing; 6 pts. TD.

We start 2 qbs. My starters are:
Brady
Rodgers

My bench qbs are Orton & Stafford.

*I only need one qb on the bench to cover my bye weeks, but I keep debating which to keep. Would you rather have Orton or Stafford?

I want to try and get Chris Johnson for one of these QBS plus Housh. Which QB should I offer?
PPR for QB, RB, WR; 1 pt. per 10 yds.; 6 pt. TD; 1 pt. per 15 return yds.
QB: Stafford, Newton
RB: Spiller, Sproles
WR: VJax, Cobb
TE: Myers
W/R: Ridley
Bench: McCoy, Mathews, Bryce Brown, Kaepernick, B. Powell, Gronkowski

If you're planning on getting CJ for either of them then who cares!

I lean towards keeping Orton. He's more conservative and won't be vulnerable for 3 INT's a game like Stafford.

Good luck

thank you for the help. I do not think you will get CJ for either qb. Rogers bye week Det plays PIT so I would def shy away from them. Den plays NE who is tough but beatable.

I'd rather keep Orton. But I don't think Stafford + Housh (or Orton + Housh for that matter) will be getting you CJ3, no matter how QB-friendly your league is.

I also doubt you could get CJ3 for that but good luck. I'd rather keep Orton if it were me but he probably has slightly higher value than Stafford, so it really depends on what you're getting. I'd keep Orton and trade Stafford for his next best Rb.

I agree with the other guys. I don't see a trade happening with your backups at all and housh isn't exactly a huge bargaining chip this year. I'd say offer stafford and see if he counters.
