Vernon Davis, Drop Royal for him?

I'm in a .5/PPR league. I can get Vernon and drop Eddie.
I am very tempted.
My other WR/TE's : Steve Smith (Car), TJ, Housh, Boldin

Do I do it? Vernon will be the niners offense and Royal done nothing but disappoint.

yeah I would do it. Royal has been horrible this year and DEN have some tough games coming up...

Personally I'm still down on him, he was a # 6 pick overall and being a long suffering 49ers fan I was hoping he would be more established by now. Did Singletary finally get through to him after he had to kick him off the sidelines last year?? Maybe, actually more like hopefully. He has all of the physical tools, he is a complete freak. If he can keep up what he has done this year and build off of it than I would say he is a viable option. I'm not sure what is going on with Royal, maybe he needs Marshall to get back to being the threat he has been to take some pressure off of him, which I can see happening, I think Marshall finally gets it. Right now I would take Davis, they are hurting without Gore, I'd go for it, but keep an eye on Royal.
