I'm considering a package to trade either Schaub/Brady, Ginn Jr. and Lance Moore for J. Campbell, Boldin and Harvin (the guy I'm trading with has Andre Johnson, Santana Moss and Chansi Stuckey, as well as Matt Ryan).
First off, is this a good trade? Would you bite? Am I getting enough in return for giving up Schaub or Brady?
Second, do you give up Brady or Schaub?
My WR's right now include Bowe, Marshall, Garcon, Ginn Jr. and Lance Moore. My RB's are Jackson, Grant and Felix Jones right now. My TE is Gates. My K is Kaeding. I have 2 defenses this week b/c Eagles are on bye, so I picked up the Bengals and dropped Jon Stewart.
WHIR if you post your topic.

If you put schaub in that package, it seems like an ok deal because you are getting 2 good wrs back for 2 not very good wrs. However, it looks to me like you need rbs a bit more than you need wrs. Brady will be a beast by the end of the year. Dont trade him.
I'm not sure he'd bite since he already has Matt Ryan and to me, Schaub and Ryan are pretty similar. He wouldn't be gaining anything, he'd actually be losing in the deal with less talent at WR. Please help:
Basically, you're giving him a QB he doesn't really need, and worse WRs. If I were him, I'd ask for Brady, and that would be a deal breaker.
Of course, he MAY take Schaub (he'd be an idiot), but if so, I agree that you should do it. (I will say that if I saw this trade in my league, I'd complain to the commissioner!)
I guess I don't understand why you would complain or say he doesn't need Schaub...
He's been ranked ahead of Brady in many rankings and has been torching the last 2 weeks. I reviewed the trades based upon nfl.com's projected stats and I'm actually giving him more points than I am getting.
How can you say he doesn't need Schaub? He has two average QB's and a ton of WR's.
To each his own I guess...

Every player has an intrinsic value, which can be estimated from places like NFL.com. However, you also have to consider the team as a whole.
From my point of view (if I'm him), I'm making your team stronger while not significantly strengthening my own team. Even if Boldin rides my bench all year, at least he's not on your team scoring points. You have to look at starters---you'd be getting a WR which you would start every game, and who's value to you is very high. He'd be getting some WRs that would still ride on his bench (which is already crowded with WRs he doesn't need), and a QB who would start sometimes. Even though the projected stats say the deal is good, the impact on his team (as a whole) is much smaller than the impact on your team (as a whole). Trades have to work out for everybody, and from his point of view, it doesn't make sense. You get much stronger and he doesn't improve significantly.
If I'm him, I demand Brady and Garcon, plus the Eagles D, at least.
