Huge Trade...Expert Advice Needed WHIR 100%

Postby Lonestar1224 » Wed Sep 30, 2009 3:41 pm

So I recently made some waiver wire moves and have become really stacked at RB w the intention of making a solid trade for a good WR. So my RBs and WRS are... Standard scoring No PPR

RBs--D Brown, G Coffee, F Jackson, M Turner, W Parker.
WRs-- Ca Johnson, M Colston, M Sims-Walker, and Ted Ginn Jr

Owner 1's Team
RBs--Chris Johnson, D Ward, F. Gore and L. Washington
WRs-- A Boldin, B. Edwards, Ochocinco and Lance Moore

Scenario 1...Being that he owns F Gore I want to throw him Glen Coffee and either Ted Ginn Jr or Sims-Walker for A Boldin.....Any thoughts please??

Owner 2's Team
RB's--R Rice, R Grant, J Stewart, Steve Slaton
Wr's--A Johnson, P Harvin, R Moss, C Henry, N Burleson

Scenario 2...His RBs as of now are underachievers.. And he is strong at WR... So
I am thinking.... My Donald Brown or Willie Parker for Randy Moss. Or Could I couple Brown or Parker with one of my WR for A johnson???

Just Lookin for a little help here guys.... Like My team but I feel like I am one good WR pickup from being pretty dominant. Thanks alot

I like scenario 2 much better, really like Randy Moss now, even more when a) Brady starts clicking, and B) Welker comes back. i think if you could trade one of those guys for Moss, it's a no-brainer.

I dont know that he would go for coffee and sims-walker for boldin anyways. Scenario two looks good and if you are able to get Moss, definitely do it. You would probably have to give him someone else with Parker or Brown to get Moss. I would offer either Brown and Sims-walker or just Parker and hope you can get Moss.

I agree I don't think Parker(possible Turf Toe inj)or Brown straight up will get Moss. Brown and one of your Wr might do it. I dont see you getting A.Johnson unless you throw you #1 Wr in. What you got to do is put yourself in the other teams shoes, What would you take if you had those players.

No offense, but I wouldn't say you're "really stacked" at RB. You really only have 1 stud in Turner, and he's been a disappointment so far. I think your WRs are better than your RBs actually- how many do you start at each?

First, no way will you be able to get Moss for Brown or Parker, and I highly doubt you'll be able to get AJ for a package like that unless you give up Calvin or Colston, which kind of defeats the purpose. I like your first idea, and it makes sense for him from a RB point of view, but his WRs would be really weak then. Worth a shot though, I think it's your best chance. You might want to consider Coffee and Ginn for Ocho if he says no- I'd rather have Boldin obviously, but Ocho has been playing pretty well and would help you.

I don't think any of your RBs that you're talking about dealing would start for team 2 (maybe Coffee, but only for a week or two), so I don't really see a fit unless he has completely given up on Slaton and Rice, which I doubt.
