Kevin Smith and Welker for Roddy and McFadden WHIR

Postby nolzn » Wed Sep 30, 2009 5:38 pm

I get Roddy and McFadden
I give Kevin Smith and Welker

Fitz and Roddy both have a week 4 bye and Roddy's a big time buy low right now. I will be able to start them both for the rest of the season and not worry about WR's. I'll have MJD and Barber to start, plus some depth and the wire. I can't justify having talent like Smith on the bench all day. He has a tough schedule, but if an injury hits I'm out of luck.

McFadden doesn't have much value to me. I also don't think Roddy is that much of an upgrade to Welker. I think you can get more for Smith and Welker than that. I'd target a better receiver

I would hold with what you have. Kevin Smith is a beast and the focal point of that Detroit offense. He's a pretty huge upgrade over DMC. The upgrade from Welker to Roddy is not that significant to compensate the downgrade from Smith to DMC.

I think Roddy white will pick it up, but Welker will be solid and consistent if he gets past this injury ok. That being said K Smith>>>Mcfadden. I don't think you want to make this trade.

What do you think about the offers I have.

Stay put. Smith is much better than McFadden. Oak has no offense. If this is a PPR league, Welker is very valuable.

Thanks for the help with mine. I agree with the others. I would not do this. If DMC were on another team, I think he would be a beast. But Oakland stinks. Kevin Smith is a much better option. Stay put.
0.5 PPR 14-team league. All TDs are 6.
QB - Vick, Tannehill
RB - CJ2K, TRich, Pierre Thomas, Redman, lamar miller
WR - S Smith (CAR), Demaryius, Hartline, TY Hilton, Hixon
TE - Witten, Chandler
