Pick 1....Fitz/Manningham/Burleson/Sims? 100% WHIR!

Hey all....need some serious help figuring this out.....I am in a 12 team H2H league with PPR (2 pts per reception) and we also have IDP's.

In this league we have no WW however after weeks 4 and 8 we hold a Supp draft where we make 2 picks each. The draft goes in order of our standings and since I am current 0-3 then I will most likely have a top pick.

Someone in the league is asking me to trade both my Supp picks and a DB of mine for L.Fitz! Sounds like a no-brainer to take this right? The only guys on the FA list to choose from are really only M.Manningham, N.Burleson, Sims-Wlaker. There are a couple of QB's, no RB's, no TE's, a couple of Kickers and a ton of IDP's.

My question is should I jump on this offer or pass and take one of the 3 WR's with my first pick and still keep my DB and my 2nd pick??? I only ask this just because Fitz has put up less than steller points thus far and in fact the 3 guys mentioned have about the same or more points then Fitz so......

Please help on what you would do (I know that I have a ton of WR's already but besides Colston they have all sucked and I could use a top WR)

Wow -- that is a complicated system that you have there. But I kind of like the idea of doing a mid-season draft of the WW players. I mean draft day is one of the funnest days of the year, why not do it twice.

On the surface I like this deal -- but Fitz hasn't been playing that great. However, I do think he better than anyone on the boards. Is there any need that you need to fill with that second pick? Your team looks fairly solid, so I might try to bargain the guy down a draft pick or an IDP player, or maybe a draft pick swap (if you have one of the valuable first couple picks, you could swap a pick -- I'd hate not have any picks in that mid-season draft, especially since you don't know what needs you'll have in a couple weeks).

The only needs that I really need right now are a top WR (hence the Fitz but like I said Manningham, Burleson and Sims-Walker have about the same points as Fitz) since E.Royal, L.Evans, C.Henry, A.Bryant, C.Chambers, D.Hixon, D.Branch have not been studs of any kind.....

A good RB3 (Ward is not sitting well with me)

A Kicker (I can always grab one in the 2nd Supp draft after week 8 since J.Brown doesn't have a bye week until week 9)

so.....since there are no RB's on the FA list and the 3 WR's I mentioned are really the only decent options at WR on the FA list and the Kicker I can get in the next Supp draft after week 8 then there really isn't many needs.

I would like to do the trade and then try trading some other WR's of mine and Ward for a better RB3 but these guys are stingy and so it's really hard to trade.

BTW.....the guy trading Fitz is really hard up about what he wants so I think it will have to be this or no dice. He has also said that he would be willing to throw in R.Mendenhall as well for free into the deal but what do you think of Mendy? He has been suck all season so far so......
