Clinton Portis?

Someone dropped portis, it seems like a no-brainer to pick him up. But he really hasn't been doing ANYTHING. 12 team league, worth a pick up still? And do you think he will do anything this week? I might plug him in for Cadillac or Willie Parker. What do you guys think? Thanks

I would pick him up as he may pull through in the next few weeks with easy matchups. If he performs well, you could benefit or even sell high with him. Is Betts available too? If he is, pick him up too because if Portis injuries prevail, Betts is a good back up that would become the starter.

I've got Portis and am giving him 1 more week mostly out of necessity. Turner on a bye and I only have Brown but am picking up Buckhalter just in case Portis' leg injury becomes a problem.

i moved him to the bench after week 2, I'm hoping he puts together a decent week soon so I can move him for a WR.

if you've got room on your bench or someone else you can live without, can't hurt to pick him up and hope he improves and maybe gets some sort of trade value.
