Pick one QB ---> Favre/Sanchez/Campbell/Hill

Postby kingmillerus » Thu Oct 01, 2009 1:01 pm

I have Matt Ryan on bye, so I need to use one of these waiver wire QBs this week. My initial instinct was to go with Sanchez at NO (lots of passing in that game), but most rankings I've seen have him at the bottom of this list. Any suggestions?

Favre vs. GB
Campbell vs. TB
S. Hill vs. STL
Sanchez @ NO

Thanks!

Campbell. He was below the radar last week but got me 25 points and was a big reason I won. I'm rolling with him again this week against TB.

You also can't discount Hill against STL who absolutely sucks.

NO/JETS game will be low scoring IMHO with the game decided on the ground, not through the air. Favre is going to get clobbered by a GB team that won't be embarrassed. If Minn wins, it'll be with Peterson.

My two cents..

Yeah ... Campbell is the highest rated QB among the bunch on Yahoo, but the Redskins are so erratic that it terrifies me to start him.
QB - T. Romo
RB - R. Mendenhall, D. Williams, M. Lynch, B. Tate, R. Helu
WR - C. Johnson, R. Wayne, Julio Jones, D. Amendola, J. Know, H. Ward
TE - J. Witten
K - None yet
DST - Baltimore

Of the QBs you mentioned, I like Sanchez. It'll certainly be a high-scoring affair, and with the Jet run game struggling NY will be unable to dictate the pace of the game. Sanchez will have to air it out early and often in order to keep pace with the mighty New Orleans offensive machine.

Jason Campbell is an interesting gamble against a totally lackluster Tampa D ... but I'd still go with the rook'.

I disagree, I think it'll be low scoring and won on the ground..but, that's what makes fantasy football so interesting..never know until they play the game.

I had the same problem you do: Ryan on bye week.

I wanted Campbell but he was claimed before me. I took my second choice which was Hill.

In my opinion, both have favorable matchups so you should be fine with either. I'd go Campbell.

Normally Id say Sanchez, but I love Campbells matchup this week. Tampas secondary has been playing like garbage and he can throw the ball.
Id go Campbell for sure. GL
