1 rb spot - moore, bush or washington? WHIR

Postby howhao » Thu Oct 01, 2009 1:19 pm

I just made a trade which I am relatively happy about (steve smith NYG, steve smith CAR, thomas jones for ronnie brown, santonio holmes) - I had to since I have gore and dwilliams as my RBs.

Now I have a RB2 spot open for this week. I have L. Washington (@NO) on my roster. Michael Bush (@Hou) and Mewelde Moore (vs. SD) are on the WW.

The league is 6pts TD, 10yd/pt on rush/receive, .5ppr. Who would you start?

Will help you.

Bush should have a solid week vs. Houston.

Start Leon, seems like Rex Ryan likes him quite a bit and who knows about NO's Defense. Is Glen Coffee available? If so get that dude.

coffee was drafted in my league, which is pretty competitive.

i do like leon between him and thomas jones, except that their touches are almost right down the middle. plus he returns and i don't get return yards, which is a detriment to his offensive touches.

anyone else?

I would go with Bush. Moore's too much of a gamble. If Parker doesn't play I still think they give the ball to Mendenhall most. Leon and Bush are about equal IMO, both in good RBBCs so the Ds they play against are the deciding factor. NO has been good against the run. HOU has been the worst rush defense in the league. Go with Bush and let's hope McFadden doesn't take his TDs. Good luck!

Think I'd go with Washington in this one. He gets alot of carries, and if he can find the endzone will give you some good points GL

i was led to believe the same thing coming into this season and through 3 games his touches have obviously increased from past seasons but his rushing touches aren't quality ones and dump passes are truly dump passes (only as a last option, not a designed play).

i am really torn between washington and bush, with moore being a close 3rd option.
