PPR FLEX HELP...WHIR

Postby silverZ » Fri Oct 02, 2009 10:06 am

I need to figure out who to put in my Flex if Welker is out. I'm leaning towards plugging in LT if he's playing, but Im also considering Edelman. Ward and Caddy are both battling knee injuries so I don't trust them. Here's my lineup: any help is welcome.

6 pt all TD, PPR, 1 pt per 25 return yards

QB: Rodgers
RB: Moreno, Sproles
WR: Megatron, Smith(NYG)
Flex W/R: ???????
TE: Gates
DST: Packers
K: Kaeding

Bench RB: LT2, Ward, Caddy, Buckhalter, Hightower (bye)
Bench WR: Edelman
Bench QB: Sanchez

Another problem is that LT is a gametime decision Sunday night. So if Welker is out and I don't plug in Edelman or Ward/Caddy at 1pm, the only option I have left is Buckhalter at 4PM if LT doesn't play. So if I don't hear anything about LT in the afternoon I'll have to plug in Bucky instead of risking a big fat donut if LT doesn't play...hope this makes sense I haven't had anything to eat today yet.

i have LT as well in a dif league than the one you helped w/, (and i'd like to take this time to say thank you) and i'm leaving him benched untill i'm sure he's ready to go in my line up or i have no other option for bye wk replacement whichever comes first....so i guess use Edelman...again thanks for the help

I agree with Buckhalter. LT is too risky, given the situation. Even if he plays, he's not a good start this week anyway.

Thanks for the help on mine...

I would rank them like this:
1A) Buckhalter
1B) Edelman
3) LT

LT looks pretty risky at this point, and he has a terrible matchup anyway. Looks like a Sproles kind of game if anything. Edelman would be useful if Welker doesn't play (which is appears he won't...maybe not for a while?), but we've only seen one good week out of him. Buckhalter I think gives you the biggest upside. Not a terrible or great matchup w/ Dallas, and he'll get at least 50 percent of the touches.

I would go with Caddy. If it can be avoided, i wouldnt start Moreno and Buckalter together. Edelman is tempting in a PPR league, but he's still very unproven. I have Tomlinson, and i'm leaning towards sitting him.

help with mine?
