I need help...ALL of my RB's are banged up this week and there isn't much available on my WW. It's a standard scoring league.
My team:
QB: Cutler RB: Portis (Q) RB: W. Parker (Q) WR: R. Wayne WR: S. Smith (NYG) WR: Holmes TE: Cooley D/ST: Bengals K: Tynes Bench: WR, Fitzgerald Bench: RB, K. Smith (Q) Bench: RB, D. Ward (Q) Bench: WR, T. Holt
The best available to me on the WW is: R. Williams v. Buffalo M. Bush v. Houston J. Harrison v. Cincy L. Betts v. TB
Who of these do you think gives me the best chance to post decent numbers? I'm thinking of dropping Holt for a one week (hopefully) replacement at RB. It sounds like Portis may play, and possibly K. Smith, but I don't want to take any chances. As alwasy, WHIR! Any ideas/thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Bush is the best of those for this week. He is a solid backup and Houston has a terrrrrrible run D. I dont know enough about Washington, but if Portis is out Betts could be better. Then again Harrison will be good if Lewis is out and MIA will rely more on the run with Henne making his first start. hmm.. this is a tough call. If Betts gets all the carries in Washington when Portis is out he gets 1, Bush 2, Williams 3, Harrison 4. If Betts splits I would take Bush over him, maybe williams too.
Thanks. One thing I didn't think of is that I could pick up M. Moore as FWP's replacement. I've been hearing that Mendenhall might get the start, but that Moore is a more reliable RB since he knows the offense better. Just one more thing to think about!
I would def stop reading and grab J. Harrison. He will be the starter in 2 weeks I think and K. SMith just declared himself 'ready to play'. I also have Willie, Harrrsion and K. SMith. I'm benching Willie, and planned on starting Harrison until 30 sec. ago when I saw K. Smith ready. I'm with you brotha!!
I like Harrison and I like Moore for Pitt....Parker has turf toe which is a lasting injury. Mendenhall is not on the best terms with coach, which means Moore could easily turn into the starter for a good amount of time in the future.
With San Diego, it looks like anyone can run on those guys. And if you grab Moore....just watch things closely, you could start Parker or Moore.....
Personally, I think Moore would put up more points than Harrison.
