After grabbing Coffee from waivers I have an interesting flex decision to make this weekend. MJD is an automatic start as is AJ (despite going up against the dreaded Nnamdi). So I need to pick 2 RB and 1 WR or 1 RB and 2 WR from the following list: Rice, Coffee, Jennings, Smith(NYG), and Hester. 0.5 PPR.
I'm leaning towards Smith due to his consistency, and Coffee due to the nice matchup.
That leaves Rice, Jennings or Hester for the flex spot. To me Rice is the safest play, probably safe to assume ~12 pts, but perhaps with the least upside. Hester has had two nice games and one stinker, but has a nice matchup against the Lions.
Almost every rankings list I've seen has Jennings in the top 6 or 7, but his 2 receptions on very few targets the last 2 weeks has me concerned. Add to this the fact that Minn. currently has one of the top ranked pass defenses, and I just feel there's a decent chance Jennings gets shut down again like he did vs. the Bengals. Sure he always has the potential for a huge week, but I also think he's the riskiest play of this lot.
I realize this is a long post, so thanks for sticking with me this far. What do you think Cafe, who should I play? WHIR if I can.
